FAQs

How will I receive my Booking Confirmation? 

After placing your booking you will receive an email with booking confirmation for your workshop with a link to click on to download  a PDF with details/ directions (please look in your spam folder if you do not receive this in your Inbox within a few minutes). Please bring a copy of this email with you on the day of the workshop – either to show on your phone or download and print it to bring with you.

What time will the workshop start / finish?

Coffin making workshops 9.00 am - 5.30pm on each day.

All other workshops run 10.00am - 4.00pm

Do I need to bring anything to the workshop?

All tools and materials are provided. Wear comfortable layered clothing and bring something warm to put on as we are working in a barn or outdoors, weather permitting  in summer.

Unless stated on the workshop details lunch is NOT provided so you will need to bring something to eat and drink for lunch.

What are the directions to Usk Castle Chase Barn?

To get to Usk Castle Chase, head along the A449 go south from Monmouth or north from junction 24 on the M4 and turn off at Usk ( Brynbuga) head towards the town of Usk.

Just before you come into Usk before passing the primary school on your left, turn right on to the old Usk to Raglan (Monmouth) road.

About 1 mile along the road you will reach a sign for Usk Castle Chase Natural Burial Meadows on the left and the barn is located adjacent to that.
